Ingredients

  • 250g pack of butter, softened
  • 300g self-raising flour
  • 250g golden powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 ml cup of natural yogurt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 200 g bar of white chocolate, half chopped
  • 300g soft cheese, not refrigerator cold
  • 100g powdered sugar, sifted
  • Sweets, to decorate

Preparation steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4.
  2. Grease a 20 x 30 cm baking tin and line it with baking paper.
  3. Beat butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, yogurt, milk and vanilla until lump-free.
  4. Stir in the chopped chocolate.
  5. Pour the mixture into the mold.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cake is golden brown and risen and a skewer comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the tin.
  8. Melt the remaining chocolate.
  9. Stir the powdered sugar into the soft cheese and then add the melted chocolate until smooth.
  10. Allow the mixture to cool.
  11. Spread the icing on the cake.
  12. Cut the cake into squares.
  13. Decorate the cake as desired.
