  • 23 cm thin pizza base
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • a handful of pitted black olives
  • large handful of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained
  • 200g canned tuna in brine, drained and cut into flakes
  • a handful of basil leaves

Preparation steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 230°C/fan 210°C/gas 8.
  2. Spread the pizza base with tomato puree.
  3. Scatter garlic, olives, tomatoes and half the oil on top.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes until the tomatoes take on color and the bottom is crispy.
  5. Remove from oven.
  6. Scatter capers, tuna and basil on top.
  7. Drizzle with oil.
