  4. Pour the mixture into the mold and spread over the compote.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cake has risen well.
  6. Sprinkle sugar over the cake and place in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the cake is baked through.
  7. Take the cake out of the tin.
  8. Eat the cake warm or at room temperature with cream or custard.
