Ingredients
- 500 g cup Neapolitan pasta sauce (from the refrigerated section)
- a good handful of fresh basil leaves
- 250g pack of freshly stuffed spinach and ricotta tortellini
- 100 g pack of mozzarella, cut into slices
- 2 tbsp grated fresh Parmesan
- 1 tbsp pine nuts
- mixed salad leaves for serving
Preparation steps

- Assemble the sauce.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas 4/fan 160°C.
- Place the pasta sauce in a large bowl and dilute with 100ml water.
- Scatter basil leaves and tortellini on top.
- Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
- Stir everything really well.
- Layer everything up.
- Place half of the pasta mixture into two individual gratin dishes (or one larger).
- Tear half of the mozzarella and sprinkle over each dish.
- Add the rest of the pasta and sauce on top, pressing the pasta down a little so that it doesn’t stick too much to the sauce.
- Tear up the remaining mozzarella and sprinkle with the Parmesan and pine nuts.
- Bake and serve.
