1. Paprika

Regardless of its color, peppers are rich in vitamins A, C and E. These antioxidants strengthen your immune system, protect against cell damage and support healthy skin. Additionally, peppers are low in calories and high in fiber, which aids digestion and aids in weight management.

2. Olive oil

Using olive oil in this recipe provides healthy monounsaturated fats that may reduce the risk of heart disease and inflammation. It also contains antioxidants, which have been linked to a reduced risk of chronic diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.

3. Red onion

Red onions not only contribute to the flavor profile of the dish but also provide various health benefits. They are a good source of quercetin, a flavonoid antioxidant that has been linked to reducing inflammation, improving heart health, and supporting immune function.

4. Ground cumin

Cumin is a spice known for its distinct flavor and potential health benefits. It may aid digestion, help control blood sugar levels, and have antimicrobial properties. In addition, cumin contains iron, which is essential for transporting oxygen in the body.
