Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 lime, juice only
  • 1 fresh chili, deseeded and finely chopped
  • a few drops of Thai fish sauce or light soy sauce
  • 120g bag of herb salad
  • a third of a cucumber, halved and sliced
  • 5 radishes, sliced
  • 15g pack of fresh coriander
  • 2 x 100-140g fillet steaks
  • a handful of chopped roasted peanuts

Preparation steps

  1. Mix garlic clove, brown sugar, lime juice and chili.
  2. Add the Thai fish sauce to the whisked mixture.
  3. Mix the herb salad with cucumber, radishes and torn coriander leaves.
  4. Divide the mixed salad between 2 plates.
  5. Fry the fat-free steaks in the pan for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  6. Let the steaks rest and then cut them into thin slices.
  7. Place the sliced ​​steaks on the salad.
  8. Add the steak juices to the dressing.
  9. Pour the dressing over the salad.
  10. Scatter the roasted peanuts over the salad.
