  • 140g unsalted butter
  • 300 g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 500 g cream cheese, soft
  • 85g powdered sugar
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 15 hazelnut chocolates (we used Ferrero Rocher), 5 of them coarsely chopped, the rest reserved for decorating
  • 4 tbsp hazelnut chocolate spreads
  • 25g hazelnuts, roughly chopped

Preparation steps

  1. Make the cheesecake base: Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
  2. Grind the cookies into fine crumbs in a food processor.
  3. Add the melted butter and pulse until well blended.
  4. Pour the biscuit mixture into a 23cm springform pan and press it firmly into the bottom.
  5. Cool the crust while you prepare the filling.
  6. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar in a bowl until fluffy.
  7. Whisk cream and vanilla in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  8. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
