  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 tsp jerk seasoning (we used Schwartz)
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 2 red onions, sliced
  • small bunch of coriander, stems finely chopped, leaves aside
  • 2 x 400g cans of chopped tomatoes
  • 410 g canned kidney beans, drained


Spiced vegetables
Add 2 tsp of it
seasoning with root vegetables, oil and spices,
then roast at 200 °C/fan 180 °C/gas for 6 minutes
40 minutes or until tender and golden brown.Use up jerk seasoning
Super-quick marinade: Mix 1 tablespoon of jerk
Spices or curry powder in 3 tbsp
Use natural yogurt and as a marinade
Chicken breast, shrimp or lamb chops

Preparation steps

  6. Remove the lid, stir in the beans and cook for another 10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with coriander and serve with rice.
