1. Olive oil

Olive oil, a key ingredient in this recipe, offers a number of health benefits. It is a rich source of monounsaturated fats, which help lower bad cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. In addition, olive oil contains antioxidants that protect cells from damage and can therefore reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer.

2. Eggplant

Eggplant, also known as eggplant, is a great addition to any healthy diet. It is low in calories and high in fiber, which contributes to a feeling of satiety and helps with weight control. This versatile vegetable is also rich in antioxidants and essential nutrients like vitamins C and K, which promote overall well-being.

3. Halloumi cheese

Halloumi cheese gives these burgers a delicious and unique taste. Although it is a high-fat cheese, it is an excellent source of protein and calcium. Protein helps build and repair tissue, while calcium supports bone health and contributes to a healthy metabolism.

4. Harissa

Harissa, a spicy paste made from chili peppers, provides more than just heat. Chili peppers contain capsaicin, which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and may help with weight loss. Additionally, capsaicin can help improve digestion and boost metabolism.

5. Ciabatta rolls

The whole wheat ciabatta rolls used in this recipe offer greater nutritional value compared to refined flour alternatives. Whole grains are rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They provide sustained energy, support digestion and help maintain healthy blood sugar levels.

6. Houmous

Houmous or hummus is an aromatic spread made from chickpeas, olive oil and tahini. It is a good source of plant-based protein, fiber and healthy fats. Chickpeas in hummus can help control appetite, promote heart health, and aid digestion.
