Tip
equipment
Depending on your child’s age, you may need children’s scissors with metal blades or a small knife. A rotary grater is gentler on little knuckles.
Preparation steps
- Ask an adult helper to turn the oven on to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4.
- Clean or chop the spring onions and put them in a bowl.
- Add the peas to the bowl.
- Grate the zucchini half at a time using the rotary grater and then add them to the bowl.
- Cut the ham into pieces with scissors. If you do this over the bowl, it will fall straight into it.
- Add the feta to the bowl, crumbling it with your hands.
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and scoop out any remaining shell with a spoon.
- Whisk the eggs until the yolks are mixed with the whites.
- Add the eggs to the other bowl and stir.
- Brush a round ovenproof dish with a diameter of about 16 cm with oil.
- Put everything in the mold.
- Ask a helper to place the pan in the oven for 30 minutes or until the egg is set.
- Serve with salad and crusty bread.
