  • large handful of basil leaves

  • 1 shallot, cut into thin rings
  • ½ small white cabbage, chopped very finely
  • large bunch of fine green beans, very finely chopped

Preparation steps

  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Pour the marinade over the steaks.
  3. Do not let the steaks marinate for longer than 2 hours.
  4. Light the charcoal and wait until it becomes ashy.
  5. Mix all dressing ingredients together.
  6. Mix the salad ingredients with half of the dressing and set aside.
  7. When the coals are ashen, sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side (medium-rare).
