Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ rosemary sprig, leaves picked and finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 200 g wild mushrooms, cleaned with a pastry brush, larger ones torn into pieces
  • ¼ tsp Marmite
  • ½ small bunch of parsley, roughly chopped
  • 4 slices of sourdough, toasted

Preparation steps

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon butter, rosemary and garlic in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Once simmering, add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown and tender.
  3. Add the remaining 1 tbsp butter to the pan with the Marmite and toss to coat the mushrooms.
  4. Remove from heat and sprinkle some spices over the parsley.
  5. Divide the mushrooms among the 4 slices of toast.
  6. Drizzle over the butter remaining in the pan.
